Network error on Treo 700p

Hello...

I have a problem with my 700p. I am connecting to my XPMCE via Softick PPP. I can browse the web, pick up my email, vsFTP to the XP machine, etc. However I cannot ping any IPs from within prefs/Log. I can't ping 127.0.0.1, 192.168.50.1 (the XP address) or 192.168.50.3 (the address I assigned my Treo from within Softick PPP).

Whenever I use Resco FTP I get this error:

Connect to 192.168.50.1=192.168.50.1
ConnectErr: NetworkError: timeout (0x1212)

This error pops up instantly, FTP it doesn't even lag. As soon I I tap on the FTP server name, I get this error. Any idea why I cannot ping any IPs from within the log? I mean, why can't I even ping 127.00.0.1 when I can get on the Internet? This is driving me crazy...

The DNS servers are the ones assigned by SoftickPPP, and they are the servers I use to get on the Net from my LAN.
