The palmOne Tungsten E is one exceptional device for retailing under $200! It
runs Palm OS 5.2.1, has 32 MB of RAM, allows MP3 playback, and has the Palm
enhanced PIM applications. It also has the same great, 320 x 320 high-res screen
as the T2. What is unique
about the Tungsten E versus the Tungsten T Series is that its body does not
slide, so its 4.5" high and it also does not use Palm's "Universal Connector".
Instead it uses a standard mini-USB port for synchronization. The power supply
also plugs directly into the handheld for charging. This is actually a very nice
setup, but it does preclude using certain accessories that rely on the more
common Universal Connector. We just have to rate this a PalmZone.net "Best Buy".
