I purchased in Hong Kong in 03/2005. mp3 wouldn't work, sent back under warranty, all ok now. I sent two emails to their support address 6 months ago and still no answer. Currently having trouble using email and, wap and internet in Australia on Telstra system. Won't connect. Any ideas on configuring the phone?

I've been using this phone (unlocked) for a month with my ATT/Cingular account in Fort Lauderdale, FL. I LOVE the form factor BUT reception is not as good as with my Nokia 3100, battery life is poor, and I managed to lose my stylus which is a non-standard extendable variety and is not easily replaceable. I also find that I need to frequently reset the phone, especially after a HotSync. Fortunately the reset button is easily accessible on the side of the body, unlike the Treo 650 which requires removing the battery! The font is too thin (I used Thin Font Fix with my Clie SJ22 to fix a similar problem but it doesn't work with the QDA) and the screen can't be seen well outdoors, especially in bright sunlight. The phone can be charged with the included wall charger which plugs into (shares) the hotsync cable. The hotsync cable will also charge the phone via a powered USB port or a car charger adapter that allows a USB connect. I have not been able to find a source to purchase a 2nd cable to keep in the car. That said, I much prefer this smartphone to the Treo 650 in size, form, and ease of use (I don't like/need the attached keyboard and find the Treo's awkward to use. I'm really more comfortable with Grafitti and touchscreens.)

Purchased in Hong Kong. Using on the Fido GSM network in Vancouver, BC, Canada. Phone is unlocked. Love this phone. Two negatives: 1. Not all Palm software works within the 240x320 screen resolution. Although the screen is gorgeous and has a brightness adjustment. 2. Lack of support. It did not come with a car charger. I emailed [email protected], asking how to get one. It has been one full week, they have not replyed. The usb cable does have a female plug to accept power. So I could use this cable. But the point is... They have not replyed to my email.
