I'm getting lots of occasions when my hotsync fails and reports that the connection has been lost. Anyone any suggestions?

The m505 has a number of reported usb problems, although I think most of these refer to the usb sync failing all-together.
there are a number of reported fixes. Anyone got any links?
See also this thread: m515 usb failures?

There have been a few fixes suggested, among them the deep discharge fix. Good luck finding all of them, though. Other than here, many of the threads I've seen on the USB failure issue have been either questionably mature criticism or unabated flame wars.

My 505 has only once stopped syncing via USB.
I uninstalled the PC software and then reinstalled it and have not had any problems since.
Hope this helps!
