Palm Jabber client

Now that we have WiFi in our Palms, we need a Jabber client or multi-messenger application. I'd certainly pay the duckets for it!

Here is an app called VeriChat. It costs $24.95 US, and includes the first year of the required service. It allows you to maintain a constant, always-on presence at Yahoo Messenger, ICQ, AOL Instant Messenger, and MSN Messenger. I wouldn't be surprised if more networks were added in the future.

I switched to the 755p recently and searched far and wide for an MSN Messenger application that would not charge me an SMS fee. It's features are outstanding. This program, QuickIM, works just like the desktop version of MSN Messenger.

It was easy to setup on my Treo 755 from Verizon. I like that QuickIM will run in the background while I am doing other things. I recommend it! Its the first program on my list.
