My 700p is stuck on a screen with 0.14 at the top in small type with 8 rectangular colored squares. None of the buttons work. The only way to turn it off is to remove the battery. When I replace the battery it goes back to the colored rect screen or it says update rom image yes or no? If you press yes then it searches the sd card then goes to the colored rect screen. If you press no it goes to the colored rect screen. Any suggestions? When I take the battery out & plug it into the charger the rect screen comes on. I have not been able to do a hot sync for a while. I can get a new phone from Sprint but I need the info from the phone. Does anyone know of data recovery methods for these phones?
